Product Description
The AUKEY EP-N5 True Wireless Earbuds come in a sleek but sturdy case and can be conveniently stored in your pocket which makes them travel-friendly. With its incredibly budget-friendly price tag, the AUKEY Earbuds work as an affordable alternative both in design and specifications to the high-priced Airpods that are on everyone’s wish list.
Design
What makes the Aukey EP-N5 earbuds worth a try is their ergonomic design. The earbuds have stems and their silicone ear tips are interchangeable.
Consequently, a good fit won’t be an issue because in case the tips that they have attached to them don’t fit, you can just swap them out with a pair that does.
The earbuds and the charging case both have a matte black finish. Furthermore, the overall design of these is very clean and sophisticated.
On the earbuds, you can see that they have left and right indicators etched in. Both buds have built-in microphones as well as charging pins and touch controls.
Coming to the design of the charging case, it is very travel-friendly due to its compact size. Very sleek appearance with the Aukey branding on the case’s front.
The case is also magnetic from the inside which helps with protecting the buds from getting lost. And, the case lid will not pop open easily because that is also magnetic.
The hinge is also pretty solid, so the case opens and shuts firmly.
And finally, under the case is where the USB-C charge port is located.
Advanced Active Noise Cancellation Technology
The Advanced Active Noise Cancellation Technology enables these earbuds to block a maximum of 28dB of noise to help you enjoy your music uninterrupted.
Sound Quality
The sound quality is quite decent and very full. Highs and mids are impressive and the volume on these buds can get seriously loud.
In addition, the bass is boosted by 10 mm drivers which results in an awesome sound.
Battery life

Another plus is its amazing battery life. Just with a single charge, you can enjoy up to 7 hours of use with no ANC and up to 4.5 hours of playtime with ANC on and this can be increased to 35 hours with the charging case.
However, one factor that can affect this is volume. High volume can decrease your playtime by a lot. On the other hand, in just 120 minutes its USB-C Quick Charge feature provides a fully charged case. These earbuds are effortless to wear and can be worn for long periods with no trouble, which is a plus in my book.
Dual Microphones

Both earbuds have two microphones each to ensure enhanced sound and the canceling of background noise, making it easier to be heard clearly.
The wireless feature ensures they are ready to be used whenever you need them. They will connect to their paired device on their own just as soon as you take them out of their charging case.

IPX5 Water Resistance
One more awesome detail is their IPX5 water resistance feature makes these earbuds perfect for an extreme workout session (you should still wipe them clean just to be safe). This means that they can deal with getting a little wet, just don’t let them get soaked.
Bluetooth
The Aukey EP-N5 wireless earbuds boast Bluetooth 5.0 technology for an unbreakable connection. Moreover, they can be paired instantly.
Additionally, these earbuds can work in dual mode and mono mode. However, you can only use the right earbud independently as it is the master earbud.
Touch Panel
Each one of the earbuds consists of a touch panel to handle your calls and music. However, this control panel is a little too sensitive to the touch. You will end up messing with the controls even when you are just adjusting them during use.
The earbuds also lack volume controls which would have been really handy.
Comfortable to wear, these earbuds consist of stems that do not rub against the cheeks.
Additionally, they even feature LED lights on the charging to show the charging progress.
Here is how the touch controls on the Aukey Ep-N5 earbuds work:
- To turn the active noise canceling on or off, all you have to do is press and hold either earbud.
- You can play or pause music by tapping either one of the earbuds just once.
- You can tap on any of the buds to answer a phone call or hang up.
- To reject a voice call, you have to press any of the earbuds and hold for two seconds.
- For the next track, you have to tap twice on the right earbud.
- Tap twice on the left earbud to go back a track.
- To summon Sire you can either say “ Hey. Siri” or tap any one of the earbuds twice.
Brand Credibility
Aukey is pretty well-known for its true wireless earbuds, which are both highly affordable and give good value for the money. But, these are not the only audio products this brand carries. Aukey also has headphones, speakers as well as keyboards, mobile lenses, USB cables, etc on its Amazon store.

Quality & Materials Used
The Aukey EP-N5 earbuds are top-quality earbuds with a plastic build that is strong and hard-wearing.
The same can be said about the charging case of these earbuds. It is super pocketable because of its small size, no bigger than a small pillbox. And, is not at all flimsy or easily breakable.
Price
At the time of this review, the Aukey EP-N5 True Wireless Earbuds are priced at $59.99.
