Design & Comfort
The Mpow M9 True Wireless Earbuds feature elongated stems at the end of each bud and their style is very Airpod-like. You also get 3 different sizes of ear tips with these earbuds so you can use the ones that fit you best and feel stable in your ears. These are snug enough to be worn while you are out for a jog or you are working out. Each earbud features a touch surface where the Mpow logo is along with an LED light to indicate charge and connectivity.
There is nothing fancy about the design of these earbuds and their case. Both have a simple and clean matte black finish. The portable charging case that the earbuds rest in is magnetized on the inside to allow the earbuds to stay put in their places and not move around or fall out.
These wireless earbuds are available in black and red.
Charging Case
There are left and right indicators carved inside the case. On the back of the case, there is a charging port while the Mpow logo is etched into the lid. And, the case also features LED lights to display battery life status.
These earbuds can give you up to 2 hours of playtime with just 15 minutes of charge. They can provide up to 5 hours of use with one charge and their charging case provides an added 34 hours.
Sound Quality
The sound quality of the Mpow M9 True Wireless Earbuds is super clean and bass-heavy. The volume can get pretty high and not become distorted. The mids are great, however, the highs are not as good. Overall, the sound quality is still quite decent for the price.
Call Quality
These earbuds feature 4 microphones as well as CVC 8.0 technology for improved call quality. These do not give remarkably clear call quality but both sides can hear each other fine enough.
Bluetooth
The Mpow M9 earbuds have Bluetooth 5.0 and the range is 49 feet. The connectivity is very stable and you do not get dropouts.
These earbuds function in both mono mode (left or right earbud) and stereo mode and switching between the two modes is also really smooth.
Control Features
The M9 wireless earbuds are provided with touch-sensitive controls that require just a light tap to function.
Tap and hold the left earbuds to decrease volume and the right earbud to increase the volume, one tap to play/pause music, double-tap the right earbud for the next song, tapping thrice will summon voice-assistant, etc.
Water Resistance
These wireless earbuds feature an IPX8 waterproof nano-coating that allows them to withstand damage against coming into contact with splashes, sweat, and rain. As a result, these can be used during workouts as well and you won’t have to worry about them getting ruined because of coming into contact with sweat.
ANC ( Active Noise Canceling Technology )
You do not get any Active Noise Canceling Technology with the M9 earbuds but they work excellently for shutting out ambient noise by making a seal into the ears.

Mpow’s brand credibility is unchanged since our last review of their Mpow M30 Plus and Mpow M20 True Wireless Earbuds:
Founded in 2013, MPOW claims to provide “ ergonomic products for people living congruously as well as efficiently.” Their website is jam-packed with audio products. Some of the products they sell are true wireless earbuds, Bluetooth headphones, Bluetooth speakers, Gaming Headsets, selfie sticks, tripods as well as waterproof phone pouches, and much more.
Quality & Materials Used
The Mpow M9 earbuds and their portable charging case have a plastic build that is lightweight but also does not feel cheap and the matte black finish is likely to not pick up any marks or fingerprints. The case, though slightly big, is still pocketable.
Price
At the time of this review, the Mpow M9 True Wireless Earbuds are priced at $21.75.

Final Verdict
The Mpow M9 True Wireless Earbuds are of course not the finest pair of true wireless earbuds out there but they sure are decent-performing and are available at a bargain price. These are indeed suitable for those who are not interested in breaking the bank to buy high-end wireless earbuds.
