Design & Comfort
The Soundcore Life P2 earbuds have stems, making them similar to the Airpods by Apple and they are very lightweight. Each bud features an indicator light. There are different sized ear tips to choose from in the box. The buds fit nicely and do not feel unstable while in the ear. The snug fit also prevents any sound from leaking out of the earbuds.
You also get a charging case for the earbuds that is easy to carry around since it is extremely lightweight but a little bit bigger in size. Still, you can slide this in your pocket. The case also has a smooth finish, which makes it a little slippery, and taking the earbuds out can be a bit difficult to take out.
Charging Case
The buds can be easily popped right into the case to charge since the charging case is magnetic and the case also has a USB-Type C charging port.
You get 7 hours of playtime with earbuds just by charging them once. The charging case, on the other hand, can stretch it to 40 hours. A simple 10-minute charge can give you up to an hour of use. Volume might affect battery life.
Sound Quality
The Anker Soundcore Life P2 True Wireless Earbuds feature graphene drivers and deliver a lot of clarity. The sound quality is adequate for their price. The bass is nice, highs are clear, and these buds do not give too much distortion when used at a very high volume.
Choosing the appropriate tips for your ears will give you the best sound quality. The passive-noise isolation that they offer also helps improve listener experience.
Call Quality
These wireless earbuds have a total of 4 microphones built-in, two in each bud, and features cVc 8.0 technology to reduce background noise. So, the microphones provide a lot of clarity when making phone calls and the person on the other end will face no trouble hearing you.
Bluetooth
The Soundcore Life P2 W ireless Earbuds have Bluetooth 5. You can get some lag when you use them to watch videos. No connections dropouts.
Taking them out of their charging case will instantly send them into pairing mode. You can use both earbuds together as well as independently.
Control Features
The Life P2 Earbuds have physical buttons that you need to push to use. They are a little stiff to press. Pushing the controls puts pressure and jams the buds deeper which can be annoying and painful.
The buttons are not prone to accidental presses. You will require your phone to control the volume since there are no volume controls on the earbuds.
Pressing and holding the button on either bud will activate Siri or Google Assistant, one press can pause/play music, you can double-press to skip to the next track, etc.
Water Resistance
The Anker Soundcore Life P2 True Wireless Earbuds are rated IPX7 waterproof to provide safety against damage from rain or sweat. You can easily use them when you work out. However, these earbuds are not meant to be used while swimming or showering. The charging case is also IPX3 rated.
ANC (Active Noise Canceling Technology)
As a pair of affordable true wireless earbuds, the Soundcore Life P2 wireless earbuds do not have any Active Noise Cancelling Technology. Although they do have the ability to block out a good amount of passive noise.
