Design & Comfort
These earbuds are really lightweight which can make them almost unnoticeable when they are on. Inside the box, you get extra pairs of tips to choose the size that is appropriate for you. This helps with getting snug and secure fit so you can wear these when you’re out on a run without the buds slipping. The earbuds are very small and they do not poke out much when on.
The charging case has the JLab branding on it and also has a very cool and modern-looking design. The slim design of the case makes it nice and easy to carry around in your pocket. Also on the case, you get LED lights to show you the charge status.
The JLab Audio Go Air Earbuds are available in multiple colors to choose from:
The JLab Audio Go Air Wireless Earbuds arrive in a charging case that has a matte finish which makes it fingerprint-proof and the charging cable is incorporated into the charging case. The case lacks a lid, so the earbuds really have no cover to protect them and prevent them from collecting dust and lint. However, the case does have magnets in it to keep the buds pulled in to an extent and not come out.
As far as battery life is concerned, the earbuds can provide 5 hours of use, and the charging case provides an added 15 hours of playtime since it can provide a few more charges to the earbuds.
With regards to sound quality, you get 3 EQ sound settings and the Go Air Wireless Earbuds consist of 8mm neodymium drivers to deliver clear, well-balanced, and detailed sound quality with nice bass.
The volume, however, on these is a bit weak and does not get loud enough and the noise reduction is not the best.
The Go Air Wireless Earbuds come with built-in mics to allow users to make phone calls. The mic makes for noisy voice calls as it catches the sounds from around you, especially when you are out and about, which can make it difficult for you to be heard with clarity.
The JLab Audio Go Air Wireless Earbuds are supplied with Bluetooth 5.0 which means no connectivity issues and you can even use these when you’re at quite a distance from your phone. You also do not get much latency when using these to watch videos, however, they are not the best for gaming.
You can use each wireless earbud on its own as well as both earbuds together.
The JLab Audio Go Air Earbuds have the JLab logo on them and are equipped with touch controls. The controls are complicated to get a hang of. To pause or play the music you have to tap twice on the right earbud, to increase the volume you have to tap once on the right bud, to decrease the volume you have to tap once on the left earbud, tap and hold the right bud for the next track, for the previous track you have to press and hold the left bud, tap the left bud twice to summon Siri or Google Assistant, one tap on the right bud to pick up a call and two taps to hang up, etc.
These wireless earbuds are IP44 sweat-resistant therefore, you don’t have to worry about these getting ruined because of sweat and rain.
ANC (Active Noise Cancelling Technology)
The Active Noise Canceling Technology is absent in these earbuds. They are noise-reducing but they do not completely block out all of the noise from your surroundings.
- IPX Rating: IP44 Sweat Resistance
- Bluetooth 5.0 Connection
- Form Factor: In-Ear
