What comes in the box
- MPOW M5 True Wireless Earbuds
- Ear tips in extra small, small, medium, and large sizes.
- Charging Case.
- Micro USB charging cable.
- User Manual.

Design & Comfort
The MPOW M5 True Wireless Earbuds include four sizes of ear tips for both comfort and an accurate fit for your ears. Because of their small size and lightweight design, these earbuds are not bothersome or painful to wear for too long. And, the fit is secure enough for you to work out with these earbuds on.
The design of the charging case makes it look very expensive due to the textured exterior. The pill-shaped case also features four LED lights on the front for showing you the charge status. The charge port is located behind the case. Furthermore, you’ll find the MPOW logo carved on the lid of the charging case.
The small size of these earbuds makes them very unnoticeable when you wear them. Both the earbuds have MPOW branding on them as well as physical button controls.
Charging Case
Like most charging cases, this one also has magnets within it so the earbuds are securely seated within their case. The magnets are quite powerful and will not let the buds slip out of their place easily. This, however, can make taking them out of the case a little tricky.
You get a full 42 hours of playtime with the M5 earbuds. From the earbuds alone, you can get 6 hours of use. While the charging case provides another 36 hours. The charging case only requires 2 hours to charge fully.
Sound Quality
The M5 wireless earbuds sound extremely clear, with very full bass. They can get really loud and still the sound will not distort. However, the sound quality is not audiophile material.
The passive noise isolation that these buds offer also helps with a better user experience.

Call Quality
The mic picks up a bit of sound from your environment. As a consequence, although you are heard, the call quality is not exactly crystal clear.
Bluetooth
These wireless earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.0. There is not much latency when you use these earbuds for videos and the connection does not have many dropouts.
Pick them out of the case and these earbuds will begin pairing. And, you turn these earbuds off by popping them back into their charging case.

Control Features
The Wireless Earbuds consists of buttons on both earbuds. These buttons control all the different features that these earbuds perform. And, the good thing is that you can also adjust the volume with these controls. To use these controls, you need to:
- For pause or play, just one press is needed.
- To change the track, you need to press and hold.
- In order to increase the volume, you need to press the right earbud twice.
- And, to decrease volume, press the left earbud twice.
- 3 presses will allow you to access voice-assistant.
Water Resistance
These wireless earbuds are IPX7 water-resistant. So, whether you sweat with these on or you get caught in the rain, rest assured these will not get damaged. The nano-coating in these earbuds helps keep them safe from getting ruined whether you use them for any kind of sports or exercise. These will not withstand full submersion though.

ANC ( Active Noise Canceling Technology)
The M5 earbuds feature CVC 8.0 Noise Cancelling for providing clear call quality. While these earbuds do not have Active Noise Canceling Technology, they are quite noise-isolating.

Brand Credibility
Mpow’s brand credibility is unchanged since our last review of their Mpow M9, M30 Plus, and Mpow M20 True Wireless Earbuds:
Founded in 2013, MPOW claims to provide “ ergonomic products for people living congruously as well as efficiently.” Their website is jam-packed with audio products. Some of the products they sell are true wireless earbuds, Bluetooth headphones, Bluetooth speakers, Gaming Headsets, selfie sticks, tripods as well as waterproof phone pouches, and much more.
Quality & Materials Used
The MPOW M5 Wireless Earbuds are made of plastic and have a very low profile. The case is also plastic but has a leathery feel to it because of the texture on it. It really makes the case look premium and quality-wise, it feels really good and sturdy.
Price
At the time of this review, the MPOW M5 Wireless Earbuds are priced at $49.99.
